U3/G1: Renewable Energy Generation

Renewable energy is a phrase that is loosely used to describe any form of generating electric energy from resources other than fossil or nuclear fuels. Renewable energy resources include hydropower, wind, solar, wave and tide, geothermal, and hydrogen.

In this course, various conventional and renewable energy systems are presented. This includes method of generation as well as operation and modeling of the main types of conventional and renewable energy systems.
