G2: Cleaning Traditional Energy Systems
In this course you will learn about the environmental and health impacts of the major generation sources in the electricity grid today. You will also learn about the state of the art technologies that are being implemented to clean the energy resources. Topics include clean coal technologies, coal gasification, clean exhaust methods, carbon dioxide capture and sequestration, and sustainable nuclear power including spent fuel recycle and advanced reactors.
