G4: Power Transmission System Electromagnetics
This course covers applications of electromagnetics to high voltage overhead power transmission lines. These include propagation on overhead power lines, the derivation of equivalent transmission line parameters, the electromagnetic field environment of power lines, limits on power flow, corona, measurements, grounding and joint right-of-way compatibility issues.
